Background
Kaleidoscope Training & Coaching was established
by Melissa Roberts who began her career as a solicitor. After
moving to the United States, she continued to use her legal skills
working as a contracts negotiator for a global communications
company. Melissa specialised in negotiating cross-border deals
with large, multinational accounts. and spent three years based
in the US returning to continue her role in the UK.
Having decided to make a career change, Melissa
established Kaleidoscope Training & Coaching where her legal
and commercial experience is now invaluable in developing and
delivering practical training and personalised coaching.
Melissa has a BA (Hons) in American Studies from the University
of Birmingham and the University of California at Berkeley. She
completed her legal qualifications at the College of Law in London
and whilst she no longer practices as a solicitor, she is still
on the roll of solicitors and is a member of the Law Society.
Melissa also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Coaching from
Newcastle Business School at Northumbria University and is an
Associate Member of the Association for Coaching.
Purpose
Kaleidoscope's purpose is to provide organisations and individuals
with tailored training and personalised coaching. In order to
get the most out of training, it must be relevant, practical and
enjoyable. In addition, to achieve the best results from coaching,
it must be motivational, non-critical and enlightening. Kaleidoscope
aims to conduct all of its training and coaching in a professional
but relaxed style. After each training course and coaching session,
individuals leave with the tools necessary to put into practice
what they have learned.
